MacAce Nominated for THREE ISPA awards - 12th May 2011
MacAce.net have raised a number of eyebrows this year by being nominated in no less than 3 categories in this year's Internet Service Providers Association's awards - no other ISP has been nominated for more awards this year. The ISPA's recognise excellence in the UK Internet industry and are judge (and short listed by) a distinguished panel of leading figures in the industry. The winner will be announced at a ceremony in London on July 7th, attended by the cream of the UK ISP industry, government representatives and the media.

Macworld Awards 2010 - Winner "Best Web Host" - 21st October 2010
The MacUser Awards are firmly established as an integral and keenly anticipated part of the Apple industry calendar and this year saw over 53,000 reader-votes to crown the Mac-specialist ISP as the best web hosting company. The relatively small ISP from Cornwall punched well above its weight in a bought with some of the biggest players in the hosting industry to prove its hosting service is truly world class.

24Mbps ADSL2+broadband product officially launched- 3rd February 2009
It's only fair that when our network is at it's least busiest you should not get charged for your usage. Effective immediately we will not include any of our broadband users usage between 12 midnight and 6am in their monthly usage limits. This help us keep network traffic balanced and our customers enjoy free broadband during the night! Ideal for downloading those TV programs, updates, iTunes songs etc.

IP Stream Connect transfer complete- 6th May 2008
All of our ADSL1 (up to 8Mbit) customers have successfully and invisibly been transferred from the old IP Stream infrastructure to the new IPSC system, ready for BT's 21 century network upgrades. IPSC is a brand new network which connects normal ADSL1 connections, to the ADSL2 system via interconnect node. Whilst not providing an actual increase in speed directly, the system does away with centrals and replaces them by much faster nodes, 10 of which, around the country. This provides better resiliance, more flexibility and better overall speeds.
OneVoice Line rental and Call plans - 15th August 2008
We've taken a long hard look at the UK telecoms market and decided we can do better. As we're not afraid to think different we're challenging the largest telecoms providers in the UK with some of the best and fairest call pricing around - from just 0.87p per minute with per-seond billing and no call charges. A 30 second business call would cost nearly 14p on BT's popular One Place, with OneVoice BusinessPro it would cost less than 1/2 a penny!

ISPA accept MacAce as member -1st January 2008
The Internet Service Provider's Association have accepted us a member. As the trade body for the UK's internet, with links and a voice in Government, membership will give us and our Mac users a voice in the running and control of the Internet. Also as a member we gain access is CISCAS - a dispute arbitration service which all ISP's are required to have.
MacFormat first to review MacMate - 4stars - 17th September 2007

MacAce DOUBLES download limits - 14th Feb 2007
We love our customers, so we've given them more. All AlwaysOn ADSL home broadband packages now feature DOUBLE bandwidth.
