MacMate or WebPack:Classic?

MacMate is better value all-round but WebPacks are better for business.

If it's just hosting you require for your iWeb site (or Dreamweaver, Freeway, Rapidweaver or Sandvox) then you might be inclined to choose a WebPack:Classic. WebPack's are geared towards business users and are fully managed.

MacMate is designed specifically for iWeb and home-users / small businesses, so we have made it much easier to use and you do get a whole lot more for a relatively small difference in price.

Of course, if the appeal of cloud storage and galleries are something you want or can see yourself using more and more, then the decision is easy: MacMate®.

MacMate for home, small business or hobby sites
Generally you'll find MacMate much better for sites that aren't going to attract huge visitors or which you want to be able to manage yourself very easily. And you do get a lot of extra's that are geared towards home users and small businesses.

WebPack - managed hosting for business websites
WebPacks, although they work perfectly for iWeb sites, are geared towards the business user and are fully managed. They cope much better with high visitor numbers and can burst or load balance when required (like when an email-shot goes out or something). Because they are business sites, they have a great support and technical priority on our systems too.

There are trade offs between the two and we'd be happy to advise on which would be best for your own site, please contact us for assistance.
