Frequenty Asked Questions
This is designed for non-macace customers. Existing customers should login to their my.macace.net support area for faq's relevant to their services with us.

My internet connection goes down out of support hours, what do I do? Our network is always monitored. We generally know about a problem and are fixing it anyway. If the problem is related to your local exchange or a BT fault then you can email us on support@macace.net for 24hour assistance.

Your 0845 local rate numbers, are they inclusive in my free evenings and weeknds package? Not at present. BT still charge for these at 1p per minute evenings and weekends, 3p per minute daytime. We'll have totally free VOIP-based numbers soon.

How qualified is your support team, I've been with a so-called mac-friendly ISP before and not been impressed? That's exactly what MacAce.net is about. We're all Mac people. Many of us have 15, 10 or 5 years Mac experience at the highest level. We've been in the ISP business for over 10 years so really do know our stuff - whether you're a novice or expert yourself.

Whilst I'm smart and sensible and have a Mac, my spouse has a PC, can you help with those too? Of course, whilst we specialise in Mac's we're pretty good at helping our those PC boxes too. What we can't do is ever recommend them. Our services work with all types of computers.
